We work across all aspects of the environment: protecting air, land and water quality, improving environments, regulating business and protecting people from the risks of flooding. When we do this we combine a national perspective with practical experience of working at a local level.

We will be:

• a world class environmental regulator;
• an effective and efficient environmental operator;
• and an influential environmental adviser and champion for the environment.

We will identify where we can improve and stretch ourselves. We will also understand where our performance is already excellent and share this with others.

Supporting strategies
