What is our role?

We are responsible for ensuring that ATF sites in England and Wales comply with current legislation.

We monitor licensed permitted sites (ATFs) to ensure that they are treating ELVs correctly. We also investigate and take action against operators of illegal sites that threaten the environment and undermine legitimate operators.
