You will also need the following details to register:
- The Applicant’s name and address including the postcode, or a 12-digit grid reference of the location(s) where the exemption(s) are to be carried out. For small sewage effluent discharges, the applicant is the occupier of the land upon which the activity is taking place. For other exemptions the applicant is the establishment or undertaking responsible for carrying out the operation.
- For exempt waste operations, the paragraph number or numbers of the waste exemption(s) you wish to register.
- The address (including postcode) or a 12-digit grid reference of the location(s) where the exemption(s) are to be carried out.

Management of vegetation in or near inland freshwaters
You may register a single point for the activity, or an operational area. If you want to register a single location you can register electronically. If you want to register stretches of watercourse you should print off a paper version of this form and post it to us, accompanied by an Ordnance Survey map showing the area of vegetation cutting.
