Waste oils and oily wastes

Guidance on the classification of waste oils and oily wastes is provided by:

HWR08 How to classify waste oils and waste that contain oil (version 3.1, June 2007) (PDF, 60KB)
We have made a minor amendment to version 3 issued at the beginning of June 2007. This is clarifies the threshold for total carcinogenic Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) that are used to determine whether an oil is a carcinogen or not.
