Regional Environment Protection Advisory Committee

The committee advises us in the following areas:

  • Operational performance in Anglian Region.
  • Issues of concern in the Region.
  • The implications of national policy proposals.(Specifically concentrating on pollution control, water resources, air quality, control of complex processes and disposal of controlled waste.

The committee's last meeting was in February 2011 as it is in the process of being abolished through the Public Bodies Bill.  A transition plan is being put in place to continue local stakeholder engagement.
