2010/11 charges
On the 1 April 2010 new charges came into effect for
- Environmental permitting (EP), which inlcudes radioactive substances regulation (formerly RAS) and discharges to surface water and groundwater (formerly CFD)
- EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS)
- Water abstraction.

We consulted on the new charges in the autumn of 2009. A summary of the responses received from the consultation is available to download.
