The Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 will introduce some minor changes that will have an impact on anyone who moves or arranges the movement of waste.
We are currently updating our web pages with this new information. In the meantime, you should continue to use the existing application forms and supporting guidance from this page. If you are a specified person, lower tier, you should use the application forms and guidance for professionally exempt persons. Otherwise, please use the standard forms and guidance.

The online service is only available for a new registration or renewal at present. If you want to change an existing registration you must notify us in writing.

The online application will take you about 15 minutes. It will take longer if you have convictions to include and a Post Conviction Plan to write.
Please ensure you enter your details correctly. When you receive your certificate, the details will appear exactly as you entered them on the online system. For example if you entered ‘john smith’ in lowercase, this is how it will appear on your certificate.
