Find summary Catchment Flood Management Plans (CFMPs) and post adoption statements for the Anglian Region.
Anglian Region stretches from the Thames Estuary in the south to the Humber Estuary in the north and from the East Anglian Coast, to Daventry in the west.
Covering more than 27,000
km2 almost
six million people live here. The main urban areas are Norwich, Peterborough, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Northampton and Lincoln. The region has large areas of
flat, low-lying land and more than 860km of coastline. It encompasses the Fens, the Broads and approximately
60% of the most productive agricultural land in England and Wales.
There are 11 Catchment Flood Management Plans (CFMPs) in the region and we have produced summary reports for ten of these. We are currently re-doing the Great Ouse CFMP and public consultation will commence in March 2010. Consultation documents for this plan will be available to download in March 2010.
