• Biocidal Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2001 SR 422

  Sets out rules for placing biocidal products or new substances used in such products on the market.

• Biocidal Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 SR 302

  Amends 2001/422 to clarify that it is the prosecution's responsibility to prove that a biocidal product was not used according to the duty of care in prosecutions under this act.

• Biocidal Products (Amendment) Regulations 2003 SI 429

  Amends 2001/422 by introducing a general industry charge.

• Biocidal Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 SR 163

  Amends 2001/422 to implement for Northern Ireland EC Directive 2009/107 to allow existing products to remain on the market and subject to UK legislation while their active substances are reviewed for safety until 14 May 2014.

• Control of Pesticides (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 SR 469

  Amends 1987/414 to clarify the scope, exclusions from the approval process and extend access to information about approvals.

• Pesticides Act 1998

  Amends the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 regarding powers to make pesticides regulations and enforcement of pesticide control measures.

• Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 SR 82

  Revokes and amends the Plant Health Order (Northern Ireland) 1993. Implements protective measures for introducing and preventing the spread of organisms harmful to plants or plant products to Northern Ireland.

• Plant Health (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 SR 165

  Amends 2006/82 to clarify that when plants in transit between two countries pass through a third country where they could have been infected or contaminated by pests, a new psytosanitory certificate must be issued by the transit country.

• Plant Health (Amendment No2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2006 SR 435

  Amends 2006/82 to implement protective measures against introducing organisms harmful to plants or plant products and prevent their spread.

• Plant Health (Phytophthora ramorum) Order (Northern Ireland) 1995 SR 23

  Implements emergency phytosanitary measures to prevent the introduction and spread of Phytophthora ramorum.

• Plant Protection Products (Basic Conditions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997 SR 470

  Specifies controls on marketing, advertising, storing and using plant protection products in Northern Ireland.

• Plant Protection Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 SR 278

  Amends 2005/526 to add 11 more active substances that can be used in plant protection products in Northern Ireland.

• Plant Protection Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 SR 295

  Lays down enforcement powers and penalties for infringements of EU Plant Protection Product Authorisations Regulation 1107/2009/EC, which concerns the placing of plant protection products on the market.

• Wildlife (Northern Ireland) Order 1985 (No 171) (NI 2) (including updates)

  Makes it an offence to interfere with certain species of wild animals and plants, with certain exceptions, which require a licence. Specifies open and closed periods for hunting of limited species, with special protection for deer.
