What is a River Basin District and where is your nearest one.

A River Basin District is a river basin, or several river basins, and the river basin's adjacent coastal waters.

This is the scale we use for both strategic planning and reporting to the European Commission for the Water Framework Directive.

There are 11 River Basin Districts in England and Wales.
