Regenerating the River Medway

Two projects have made an improvement in and around the River Medway.

The Medway Valley Countryside Partnership - established in 1988, is a scheme that aims to maintain and enhance the Medway valley, using the help of local people.

The Maidstone Millennium River Park - the largest Millennium project in the South East outside London is aimed at regenerating the Medway from Teston to Allington.
