Harbour of Rye Management Plan 2008-2012

Vision for the harbour from 2008-2012

After consultation in 2003 we published the 'Harbour of Rye Management Plan'.

We have now completed our new plan which sets out our vision for the harbour from 2008 - 2012. We have developed the plan in consultation with our advisory committee and built on our successes and experience from previous plans.

Our five main objectives for the harbour are to:

  • Maintain safety
  • Improve our customer's experience
  • Strengthen environmental stewardship
  • Engage with the community and harbour user
  • Encourage local prosperity

Our plan, which is below, outlines a programme of work that will help achieve these objectives.
