Advice for SEA practitioners including: Good Practice Advice (pointers on the SEA process); SEA Toolkit (assessment techniques in SEA); Case Studies (to highlight practical advice); and, links to other web-based SEA guidance.

These pages are intended to advise and assist practitioners responsible for plans and programmes requiring Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). We do not have a formal role in providing advice on SEA practice; however, it is in our interest to see effective SEA practice. Improvements in the quality of SEA outputs and their influence on the development of associated plans will lead to reductions in environmental impacts and increased beneficial effects.
